I love the strip of shops along Albion Street in Charing Cross. Very cut and quirky “stuff”.

My family loves our local restaurant called, Sauce, in Coogee. Great for a steak and a vino. (The kids prefer red lemonade!)

1. What’s Sydney’s best kept secret?
It’s not quite a secret, but you can find everything from music venues to cafes to clothing stores and pubs on King Street, in Newtown. It’s the best.
2. Favourite restaurant / cafe / eatery? There are so many great places out there, but I would have to say the Apple Bar in Bilpin. If you don’t mind the drive, you’ll be impressed.
3. What really gets your goolies?
Non-wavers. You know the ones – when you politely let someone go ahead of you in traffic and they don’t give you the courtesy “thank you wave”.

Parramatta Eels – because my dad likes them. And the New York Yankees.

Clearly it’s a secret because I’m not aware of it…

I can’t reveal that until I have tried all of them, I have a way to go. The Belgian Beer Café Epoque at Cammeray is the early leader. And I have checked it plenty of times. Eamon also has a fantastic menu at the Hunters Hill club.

Rude people, think about some one other than yourself occasionally. 4WD’s too for the same reason.

Small Bar on Sussex Lane in the City – it feels like you’re walking into a stranger’s home and helping yourself to a drink. And swimming in Wylie’s Baths at Coogee in Summer.
2. Favourite restaurant / cafe / eatery?
The Red Door Café in Leura – home of the best chutney in the world. And in Sydney – Takeya Sushi in Coogee, you haven’t lived until you’ve conquered the Sushi and Sashimi Bridge.
3. What really gets your goolies?
People who replace toilet rolls with the paper hanging OVER the roll. I know it’s a much debated topic but I’ll settle it right here. It goes UNDER people! Cheers.

I didn’t have one until now – but decided to adopt the Bjelke-Petersen Physical Culture Club. They do good work.

The old quarantine station at Manly. It’s totally haunted and incredibly spooky, but also quite beautiful.

Rangoon Raquet Club in Crows Nest. Best Indian food in the world… outside of India. Also, the wine list is incredible.
